SPARTA — The Blessed Kateri Knights of Columbus Council #13677 recently announced the winners of the 2011 scholarship program. Joseph More from Pope John XXIII High School, and Elena Insley and Heather Conway from Sparta High School were all presented with their awards at their respective high school ceremony. The Blessed Kateri Knights scholarship is based on rigorous criteria that include church and community service, academic record, and an essay on Catholicism in today’s society. More will be attending Villanova University, Insley is going to Brandeis University, and Conway is heading off to Drexel University.
