Anna Calvano

Anna Calvano, 88, of Sparta, NJ passed away on April 9, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.

Anna was born in Paterson, NJ and lived in Jefferson Township for over 60 years.

She worked security for JC Penney in Rockaway for many years.

Anna was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Sparta and worked as a County Committee Women in Morris County for 17 years.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Alfonso L. Calvano.

Anna is survived by her devoted children: Jill Sommerkorn and her husband Richie; Lori Ruth and her husband Barry and Nancy Spetz and her husband Robert.

She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Richard and Allison Sommerkorn; Jessica and Michael Ruth and Rachel, Bobby and Kristyn Spetz and sister Gloria Peri.

Friends may call Thursday, April 12 from 3 to 8 .p.m. at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 Sparta Ave., Sparta, NJ.
