Chester S. Mohrhoff dies at age 75

Chester S. Mohrhoff, 75, of Sparta, New Jersey passed away on Dec. 23, 2018. Chester was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he was a Police Officer for 30 years, retiring in 1994. He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in Vietnam. Chester was a member of the Harmony Lodge in Hamburg, New Jersey, the Sparta VFW Post #7248, the Fraternal Order of Police and the Police Officers Benevolent Association. Chester is survived by his beloved wife Maria (nee Marrero-Vazquez) Mohrhoff; son Sean Mohrhoff and his wife Ellen of Newton, NJ, and granddaughter Samantha Marie Mohrhoff. He is also survived by his nieces Paula and Michelle. Funeral arrangements were held under the direction of the Goble Funeral Home, Sparta, NJ.
