Jeffrey C. Western (“Giggles”) of Green Township, N.J., passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021, in the Morristown Medical Center following a long illness. He was 70.
Son of the late Charles and Martha (Chatlos) Western, he was born in Ashville, N.C. Jeffrey grew up in Copiague, Long Island, N.Y., and had lived in St. Louis, Mo., before moving to Green Township in 2018.
Jeffrey was a graduate of the Copiague High School Class of 1969. He had also attended Bronxville Concordia College. Mr. Western earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Washington University St. Louis, Mo.
Jeffrey had a long and successful career retiring as the vice president of Alliance Capitol New York, N.Y. A loving and simple man, Jeffrey enjoyed spending time with his family and friends as well as taking care of any kind of animal. He will truly be missed.
Survivors include his cherished partner of 38 years, Mario R. Zambardi; his mother and father-in-law, Barbara and Bob Zambardi; brother-in-law, Robert Zambardi; nephew, Zachary Zambardi; as well as his friend Larry Barber.
Private arrangements are under the direction of the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, Newton, N.J. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA (aspca.org).
