Joseph Thomas Vozza Jr, 65, of Sparta, NJ, passed away on August 6, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Franklin, NJ and was a resident of Sparta for 37 years. He started out his working career as a masonry apprentice in Franklin and entered the food distribution industry in N. Bergen, NJ. Joe was the owner of the Bagel Bistro in Andover Township and was a longtime coach in Sussex county, coaching little league, softball and was even the cook for the Pope John football team in Sparta. Joe got pulled in a lot of directions but his loving family was his first priority. He will be greatly missed by them and anyone else who had the fortune of knowing him. He is predeceased by his parents: Joseph Thomas Vozza Sr and Louise Rudy Vozza and granddaughter Paisley Rose Dillon. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Sharon (Ciesiel) Vozza; loving father of Kristian and his wife Catherine; Vanessa Orzechowski and her husband Jason, Justin and his wife Lindsey, Ashley Elig and her husband Daniel, Alexis Dillon and her husband Michael, Kylie DeGasperis and her husband Christopher, Taylor Vozza and Baylee Vozza; beloved grandfather of Ava and Kristian Jr, Dylan and Avery, Abby and Hunter, Jaxon, Jade, Tyy and Grant, and Mason, Arianna and Kayden. Joseph is also survived by his sister Christine Caprio and her husband Frank and his brother Anthony Charles Vozza and his wife Kathyrn. Friends may call Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 2 to 8pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral mass will be held at 10am Thursday at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 Sparta Ave, Sparta, NJ 07871. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Newton, NJ.
