Kathleen Montesano

Kathleen Montesano (Kathy), 70, of Sparta passed peacefully on September 16, 2016. Kathy was born in Glen Ridge NJ, raised her children in West Orange and retired to Sparta. She worked as a beautician for 50 years. Kathy loved to bake, sew and visit Atlantic City casinos however her passion was her three children and seven grandchildren. Kathy is survived by her devoted children: Rocco Montesano and his wife Julie of Sparta; Victor “VJ” Montesano and his wife Gina of Sparta and Lynda Caputo of Hackettstown. Beloved grandmother of Gerard Montesano, Dante Montesano, Daniella Montesano, Victoria Montesano, Marissa Caputo, Isabella Montesano and Paul “Paulie” Caputo. Sister of Ellen Corea of Brick and many nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
A service as memorializing Kathy’s life was conducted at Our Lady of the Lake church in Sparta on September 19.
