Patricia Duddy Armstrong

Patricia Duddy Armstrong passed away peacefully at home in Sparta on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015.

She was surrounded by her loving family.

Born on Jan. 27, 1932 in Brooklyn, N.Y,, Patricia graduated from St.Savior’s High School and the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore, Maryland.

As a child, Patricia spent many summers in Lake Mohawk with her family.

Patricia was a New York City public school teacher and homemaker, before she moved to Parsippany in 1965.

After her children were raised, she was employed at Tiffany & Co.

Patricia was a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in Parsippany for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert W. Armstrong, one sister Elizabeth Duddy, and one granddaughter Caroline E. Krajicek.

She is survived by her children: Pamela A. Moses and her husband Steven of Maryland, Jane E. Krajicek and her husband Jeff of Sparta, Christopher and his wife Jill of Spring Lake Heights, and Brad and his wife Tara of Sparta; her brothers; Joseph A. Duddy Jr. of Manasquan, and Dr. Terrence A. Duddy of Layton; her sister, Dr. Charlotte Barry of Boca Raton, Fla; her 12 grandchildren: Emily, Allison, William, Thomas, Grace, Audrey, Charlie, Jack, Kelly, Mary-Kate, Mara and Phoebe as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends attended her liturgy of Christian burial last Saturday, Sept. 19 at Saint Peter the Apostle R.C. Church. in Parsippany.

Interment was held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
