Philip J. Daly, 89, of Oak Ridge, NJ passed away on October 19, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Phil was born in Brooklyn, New York and was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a graduate of St. Peter’s College in Jersey City with a bachelors in Mathematics. He received his MBA from The City College of New York. Philip worked as a Sales Executive for Hoffman LaRoche for 28 years and then for the Copyright Clearance Center in Ramsey, New Jersey. Phil was an avid golfer and was a Masters badge ticket holder since 1999. He loved the NY Giants and was saddened when the Dodgers left Brooklyn. Philip is predeceased by his beloved daughter Noreen Daly-Carlson. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Dolores Daly; devoted children: Kathryn Jankowski and her husband Peter; Greg Daly and his wife Peggy; Jo Ann Snoddy and her husband Stewart and youngest son Thomas Daly. Philip is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Nora, Kaitlyn, Douglas, Ryan, Olivia, Michael, Megan, Sarah, Erin, Fiona, Devin, Diana, and Brian along with niece and nephew Claudia and Vincent Serpico. Friends may call to celebrate his life on Tuesday, October 24th, 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 25th, 10:00am, at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 294 Sparta Ave, Sparta, NJ 07871. Interment will follow at Sparta Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Philip’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
