    William James Lee Bradley III, 99, died April 15, 2019 at home in Acton, Massachusetts just eight months shy of his 100th birthday.
    Mr. Bradley was born December 16, 1919 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Floyd Henry and Hazel Barbra Dillistin Bradley. He graduated from Storm King School and Rising Sun School of Aeronautics.
    He married Eleanor Jane Stewart Bradley in 1943 and moved to Jackson Heights, New York. They made their home in Westbury, New York in 1950 for 29 years before moving to Hawthorne Lake, Sparta, New Jersey in 1979. Eleanor passed away nine years ago after 66 years of marriage.
    He was a long-time and active member of Westbury Friends Meeting, Westbury, New York, and more recently of Chatham-Summit Quaker Meeting, Chatham, New Jersey.
    From 1940 to 1980, Mr. Bradley worked for Pan American World Airways, including seven years as a Flight Engineer on Pan Am’s Clippers during the “golden age of the flying boat”. During that time, he flew the Atlantic routes in support of the war effort during World War II. Mr. Bradley was honorably discharged from the US Navy in January of 1946.
    Mr. Bradley was also a co-founder and Vice President of OBAC Corp. in Sparta, New Jersey.
    He is survived by his daughter Susan Jane Bradley Hunt of Sparta, New Jersey, and her former husband James Milton Hunt of Ponce Inlet, Florida, and their two daughters, Jennifer Alane Hunt Longmire, husband John Longmire and their children Emily Alane, Olivia Claire, and Colin James of Concord, Massachusetts; and Tara Louise Hunt Wear, husband Jason Wear and their children Grace Louise and Zachary Bradley of Spokane, Washington.
    He is also survived by his son, William James Lee Bradley IV and his wife Gae Freitag Bradley of Perrysburg, Ohio, and their two daughters, Rachel Meg Bradley Darr and husband Joshua Darr of Leesburg, Virginia; and Laura Grey Botke and husband Jacob Botke of Perrysburg, Ohio.
    He is also survived by his daughter Alison Stewart Bradley Klein and her husband Peter Walter Klein of Nussdorf, Germany, and their three daughters, Angelika Trudl Sarah Klein Amunategui, husband Michael Dean Amunategui, and their two children Angelica Lucille and Michael Dean of Brooklyn, New York; Elisabeth Ursula Susan Klein Roeckinger, husband Christoph Roeckinger, and their three children Elias Christoph, Emilia Eliza, and Ferdinand Peter of Stuttgart, Germany; and daughter Charlotte Caroline Nora Klein of Munich, Germany.
    He was preceded by his brothers Floyd H. Bradley Jr., late of Tinton Falls, NJ and Walter D. Bradley late of Scottsdale, AZ.
    Family and friends will celebrate his life at a date yet to be determined.
