Sandow joins hospital foundation

NEWTONn-Megan Sandow of Sparta has joined the staff of Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation as vice president of development. "The position was specifically created to enhance the already successful fundraising activities of the foundation," said Sean D. O'Rourke, president of the Foundation, adding that he is "extremely pleased to welcome Sandow" to her now post. Sandow is a high-level, multi-faceted executive with over 16 years of leadership in the professional fundraising field. She is best known for her work with the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, where she has worked from September 1994 to present. She played a major role in developing that small, regional foundation into a national fundraising entity. She was also regional campaign representative for the Seton Hall University Campaign, procuring major gifts for the university. Sandow holds both a master's degree in corporate and public communication and a bachelor of arts degree from Seton Hall University. "We look forward to a productive and rewarding association with Megan Sandow," declared O'Rourke. Sandow lives in Sparta with her husband, Douglas, and their two children.
