Stephens earns blue ribbons

It was two first place blue ribbons for Jessica Stephens of Hewitt who recently competed with the Mount Holyoke College riding team in two intercollegiate horse shows. The first, the Mount Holyoke College Intercollegiate Horse Show, was on Oct. 15 at the school's equestrian center in South Hadley, Mass. The second was the Amherst College Horse Show held on Nov. 12 at Biscuit Hill Farm, Shelburne, Mass. Jessica won first-place ribbons in her section of the Hunter Seat walk-trot division at both shows. Jessica is a junior at Mount Holyoke College, majoring in Medieval Studies. She is the daughter of George and Christina Stephens of Hewitt.
