    Rachel Ricciardi of West Milford has been named to the Fall 2010 dean’s list at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are eligible for the dean’s list. Brittany O’Neill of Newfoundland has been named to the fall 2010 dean’s list at Loyola University Maryland. In order to qualify for the dean’s list at Loyola, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits. John Gross of Hewitt has earned two academic scholarships from Ohio Wesleyan University and has been accepted into the university’s honors program after participating in Ohio Wesleyan’s Schubert Honors Scholarships competition. John is ahome-schooled senior. All recipients of the Schubert Scholarships also have been accepted into Ohio Wesleyan’s prestigious Leland F. and Helen Schubert Honors Program. Ohio Wesleyan honors students are eligible for possible induction into the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. Only 8 percent of America’s most distinguished colleges and universities have Phi Beta Kappa chapters. Michael Trainor of West Milford has been named to the Johnson & Wales University dean’s list in recognition ofsuperior academic achievement for the 2010 fall term. Sean Sullivan, son of Peter Sullivan of Hewitt,graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Ithaca College’s School of Health Sciences and Human Performance in December 2010. The following students have been named to the Berkeley College president’s list for the fall 2010 semester: Paige Battinelli of Hewitt, Lyndsay Wright of Hewitt, and Sara Alexander of West Milford. Erica Sadosky of Hewitt was named to the Berkeley College dean’s list. The following students were named to the dean’s list at Messiah College for the 2011 spring semester: Jane DeBoer of West Milford, a senior majoring in social work. Allison Knowles of West Milford, a senior majoring in English. Erin Smidt of West Milford, a senior majoring in music education (K-12). Dean’s list is earned by receiving a 3.6 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale. Messiah College is a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, located in Grantham, Pa. The following local students graduated from Dover Business College on May 14, 2011. Ashley Janitz, medical assistant from Oak Ridge Lauren Kucinski, medical assistant from Oak Ridge Russell Nicometi, medical assistant from Oak Ridge Karen Rega, medical assistant from Oak Ridge Amanda Kirk, licensed practical nurse from West Milford Maureen V. McCafferty, licensed practical nurse from West Milford Joanne Ouheish, patient care technician from West Milford Mariam Ouheish, business administration from West Milford Dennis Traupman, surgical technologist from West Milford Hewitt resident John Madura has been named to Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s spring 2011 dean’s list. John is a junior majoring in mechanical engineering. Hewitt resident Stephen Torry was one of 16 students from the College of Saint Elizabeth Center for Theoloical and Spiritual Development to receive a lay ministry certificate in Parish Life Ministries during commencement ceremonies on May 19, 2011. Torry serves at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt. Caitlyn C. Roykovich of West Milford graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international studies on May 22, 2011 from Washington College, a private independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in Chestertown, Md. Caitlyn is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl S. Roykovich. Katherine Edwards and Stephanie Macari of West Milford were named to the dean’s list at the University of New Haven for the spring 2011 semester. Full-time undergraduate students must have a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA for the semester to be eligible for the dean’s list. Keri DeRito of West Milford, a junior majoring in psychology, was inducted into the East Stroudsburg University chapter of Psi Chi, the international honor society for psychology.
