Lauren O. Bell of Ogdensburg graduated from Sussex County Community College in May with highest honors and achieving an Associate of Science/Business Administration Degree. While at SCCC, Lauren maintained a 4.0 GPA and was awarded two SCCC student excellence awards; one for business administration excellence, and one for being an outstanding club president to the Hospitality Club for four semesters. She was one of 36 students named to the 2011 New Jersey All-State Academic Team for outstanding accomplishments. Lauren was part of the top 1 percent of business students in the state and was awarded membership into the New Jersey Collegiate Business Administration Association Honor Society and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. At SCCC, Lauren served as president of the Alpha Upsilon Pi chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, secretary to the Student Government Association and president to the Hospitality Club. Lauren is continuing her studies at Fairleigh Dickenson University, Madison Campus, where she is pursuing a degree in business administration. She has been named vice president of programs for the Business Management Organization there. She will be studying abroad for the winter session in Vietnam and Cambodia.
