Troop 184 holds annual Court of Honor

Tranquility — The Boy Scouts of Troop 184 and their families celebrated the beginning of the scouting year with a Court of Honor. The event is designed to recognize the Scouts for their achievements. The boys received the merit badges and ranks which they had earned since June. Among the awards were fifty-nine Merit Badges, including camping, first aid, fishing , rock climbing, chemistry, geocaching and rifle shooting, to name a few. Fifteen ranks were awarded, three Scout, four Tenderfoot, one Second Class, three Star, two Life, a Bronze Eagle Palm and a Gold Eagle Palm. Troop 184 meets every Wednesday 7-8:30 p.m. at the Tranquility United Methodist Church, 5 Kennedy Road in Tranquility. For more information visit www.troop184.us.
