A gift for the ambulance squad's scholarship

John Hadley, one of the organizers of a recent Sparta High School reunion for graduates of the '70s decade presented a check for $1500 to the Sparta Ambulance Squad for the Herbert H Orel Scholarship fund, This fund gives money annually to High School Seniors who are Cadets on the Sparta Ambulance Squad and are leaving for College. Andrew Smetana, Captain of Sparta Ambulance Squad, accepted the check.
