Students from Jessica Steffens fifth-grade class at Mohawk Avenue School take a peek into the past while on a field trip to historical Quiet Valley, a Colonial village in Pennsylvania. Students learned how bread was baked, clothes were dyed and sewn, dishes were made, chores were done and mattresses assembled in Colonial times. (Photo by Lori Price)
