Academy students accepted into county program

Sparta — Thirteen students from Veritas Christian Academy in Sparta were recently accepted into the 2011 Sussex County High School Honors Choir and one student from Veritas was accepted into the 2011 Sussex County Honors Band. Not only is this the highest number of participants that Veritas has had in the program since the school’s inception in 2006, but this also gives Veritas the honor of having the highest percentage in the county of its student population to be accepted and involved in the Sussex County High School Honors Band & Choir. The band and choir director at Veritas is Joy Allen.
