Attention job seekers: the IRS is now hiring
Springfield - The Internal Revenue Service is now accepting applications for hundreds of new jobs as part of a nationwide multi-phase hiring program taking place over the next several months. The agency is seeking qualified candidates to become revenue agents, revenue officers and tax compliance officers, who are responsible for enforcing America’s tax laws. Successful candidates will become tax compliance officers located either in Cherry Hill, Edison or Mountainside. Revenue agents are sought for offices in Paterson, Edison, Paramus, and Parsippany, as well as for offices in Pa., NYC, N.Y. state, Maryland and District of Columbia. Revenue officers are also sought for offices in NYC, N.Y. state, Conn., Scranton, Pa., and Baltimore, Md. Announcements are currently posted and the IRS will continue to accept applications for the next several months. Successful candidates will begin employment in late spring or early summer.
