OAK RIDGE — Lakeland Bank employees recently donated $3,146 to the Meals On Wheels Program to feed hungry seniors and homebound residents in six New Jersey counties. Meals On Wheels was the charity of choice earlier this year for the monthly “Jeans Day” fundraiser, where employees are permitted to wear jeans on Friday in exchange for a charitable donation of $10 or more per week. The amount raised will provide 786 meals. In Sussex and Warren counties, Meals On Wheels Program received nearly $1,200. That was enough to deliver 300 meals, according to Director Linda Ward who oversees efforts in Sussex County.
