Business Expo to showcase what Sparta has to offer

SPARTA - The Sparta Chamber Council, an affiliate of The Sussex County Chamber of Commerce, hosts its Annual Expo at Lake Mohawk Golf Club on West Shore Trail, on Thursday, May 13 from 6-8 p.m. to showcase products and services available in the area. Several Council member businesses have come forward to sponsor the event and are inviting the entire community to come out to the Lake Mohawk Golf Club for gifts, door prizes and hors d'oeuvres. Admission is free and parking available. Newton Memorial Hospital will host an exclusive Exhibitor Reception prior to guest arrival, where exhibitors will network with each other. Alpine Roofing and Sowinski Sullivan Architects will supply dessert and coffee for all guests. More exhibitor/sponsors include: Eastern Propane Corporation, Laddey, Clark & Ryan, Milton Terry Associates, Newton Trust, Real Estate Consultants, LLC, Sophie's Place & Lily, Inc., Sparta Athletic Club, SussexBank, The Woodland Group, Washington Mutual Home Loans and Wm. H. Wilson Septic Tank Service. These sponsor businesses will all have displays along with many others who will be available to greet members of the community. "Sparta businesses are on the rise", says Tammie Horsfield, President of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce. "Residents are at an advantage when they have dedicated merchants and professionals to provide the area with desired goods and services. This is the one place to see over 50 Sparta based businesses under one roof. I encourage the public to bring family and friends to the golf club for door prizes and delicious complimentary hors d'oeuvres", adds Horsfield. Proceeds from the expo will fund scholarships for Sparta residents looking to continue their education in the business field.
