Stop & Shop showed off its newly remodeled store at 5 Town Center Drive, Sparta, in early May.
At a grand reopening, the company donated $2,500 to SCARC, a nonprofit organization that supports people with developmental disabilities and their families.
The store is brighter and more modern and offers more than 800 new products, including fresh cheeses, refrigerated desserts and Cremas in a new Latin dairy section.
The produce department has been expanded, the bakery department remodeled and the deli department updated with an expanded offerings, including grab-and-go meals.
Also, the dairy and frozen food departments were expanded and organic and natural products added throughout the store.
“We’re excited to share our newly remodeled store with our local shoppers,” said Bill Diffin, store manager. “We’ve enhanced our offerings with more of what our customers love and essential upgrades to help make their shopping easier and more enjoyable.”
Stop & Shop now offers Savings Station, an in-store kiosk designed to make digital coupons more accessible for all customers. It allows customers to quickly and easily activate all weekly circular digital coupons and personalized offers; no smartphone, internet access or computer is required.
The Sparta store continues to offer same-day pickup, with pickup available in as little as two hours. Orders may be placed on the Stop & Shop mobile app or online at stopandshop.com
