Chef shares a few secrets

    Chef Rick Melfi served up watermelon topped with pesto and feta cheese Saturday, July 23 at the Sparta Farmer’s Market where he was guest chef. During his demo, Melfi taught attendees how to prepare simple dishes with items purchased at the Farmer’s Market. Melfi, who is from Andover Township, had copies of his book “The Food Pusher’s Cookbook: Recollections & Recipes of an Italian American Tradition” available for purchase and signing.
