Completely Mobile Theater group to produce Christmas musical

    Sussex County — The Completely Mobile Theatre Company, a local non-profit professional theatre company, will produce an ecumenical Christmas theater production, with the help of the Christian churches of Sussex County, N.J., and Orange County, N.Y. The production is a full scale, broadway type musical called "Two From Galilee" and will be produced during this Christmas season at the Lycian Theater in Sugar Loaf, N.Y., the McNeice Auditorium in Sparta, N.J., and the Newburgh Free Academy Auditorium in Newburgh, N.Y. Invitations to participate in this event were sent to 282 churches in the two county area. The cast for the production will consist of 140 people and will require another 50 people, to help with costumes, sets, lighting and sound and other technical positions. Auditions for the production will be scheduled as follows: Monday, Sept. 12 n Middletown, N.Y. Harmony Baptist Church, 1790 Route 211 East Tuesday, Sept. 13 n Sparta, N.J. First Presbyterian Church, 32 Main St. Wednesday, Sept. 14 n Newburgh, N.Y. Newburgh Activity Center, 401 Washington St. Thursday, Sept. 15 n Warwick, N.Y. Doc Fry Community Center, 11 Hamilton St. Friday, Sept. 16 n Newton, N.J. First Presbyterian Church, 54 High St. Saturday, Sept. 17 n Glenwood, N.J. Glenwood Baptist Church, 1863 Route 565. People interested in auditioning should be prepared to sing a song that they are familiar with. Any standard musical theater song or a standard Christian praise hymn would be appropriate for the audition, and an accompanist will be provided.
