Condit's Toyota World expands sales team
Hampton Townshop Condit’s Toyota World of Newton has expanded its sales team to keep up with its current sales demand. Comparable to Toyota’s nationwide sales record, projected to be up 15% this year, Condit’s sales are high and could be even higher, according to Chris Dexter, General Sales Manager, if they could stock the number of vehicles in demand, particularly the popular Camry. The 2007 Camry’s redesign has netted an increase in sales of that model by 3.1%, according to Automotive News. Sales on all Toyota vehicles have been good this summer, but Camry sales “have soared,” according to Dexter. “Camry sales nationwide may top 450,00 units this year, which would be the first time since 1978 that any manufacturer has sold that many units of one model.” Joining the team are Larry Maleson of Bushkill Falls, Pa., who brings with him more than 20 years of sales experience. He attended Mercer County Community College and is a former software developer for Bell Communications Research and Pacific Bell. Colleen Chiariello of Branchville, a life-long Sussex County resident, attended Centenary College and has nine years of sales experience. She and her husband, Roy, have one daughter. She is a member of Christ Church, Newton, and is active in various Culver Lake community events. John Illanovski, who hails from Middletown, New York, has more than a dozen years of automobile sales experience and is a graduate of Orange County Community College. He and his wife, Susan, have three children. “We’re ready,” notes Dexter, “We’ve added real go-getters’ to our team to meet the anticipated and continued growth of sales of Toyota vehicles as buyers continue to seek fuel efficient and environmentally sound vehicles.” Condit’s Toyota World is a nine-time winner of Toyota’s highest achievement, the President’s Award. The dealership is located on Routes 206 and 94, just north of downtown Newton. To learn more about Condit’s Toyota World, log on to: www.conditstoyota.com.
