County Clerk's office relocating

Newton - The Sussex County Clerk’s office will relocate its operations to 83 Spring St., Suite 304 (former Shelby building), in Newton, effective Nov. 9. The office at 4 Park Place in Newton will remain open to the public until Monday, Nov. 7, for regular business, and on Tuesday, Nov. 8 (Election Day), for court-ordered voting only. The vault will be closed from Nov. 8 through Nov. 11. However, counter operations at the new site will be open for business on Wednesday, Nov. 9, and Thursday, Nov. 10. The office will be closed Friday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. It will be fully operational on Monday, Nov. 14. The Clerk’s office will retain its main telephone and fax numbers: 973-579-0900 (phone) and 973-383-7493 (fax). For information, call the main number or send e-mail to scclerk@nac.net.
