    January 17 Stephanie Villarreal, 19, of Hamburg, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin. She admitted to possessing two bags of heroin following a motor vehicle stop by Officer Snyder in Franklin on May 28, 2005. She is scheduled for sentencing on Feb. 6. January 20 John Space, 22, of Wantage, was sentenced to four years in state prison. He pleaded guilty on Dec. 19 to violating probation. Space had been placed on probation on Dec. 19, 2003, for possession of a controlled dangerous substance, theft and unlawful taking of a means of conveyance. He violated probation by failing to attend substance abuse treatment, failure to attend AA/NA meetings and failure to report to his probation officer. Andrew Rosenfeld, 21, of Hopatcong, was sentenced to three years in state prison, $1,524 in fines and a loss of driver’s license for one year. He pleaded guilty on Dec. 5 to possession of cocaine and to driving while intoxicated. Rosenfeld was arrested for driving while intoxicated by Byram Police Officer Daniel DeWald on Sept. 30, and was found to be in possession of two small bags of cocaine. Elizabeth Dadas, 36, of Rockaway, was sentenced to two years probation, two days credit for time served in jail, $1,205 in fines and a six-month loss of driver’s license. Dadas pleaded guilty on Dec. 5 to prescription fraud. She admitted altering a prescription for Ativan to read 90 pills when it was prescribed for 60. The offense occurred on July 8, 2005, in Hopatcong and was investigated by Officer Robert Haffner. January 23 Robin Devries, 35, of Highland Lakes, pleaded guilty to theft. On Jan. 3 she took a debit card belonging to her then roommate and used it to make various purchases without the cardholder’s knowledge or consent. Sentencing is anticipated for March 10. Peter P. Filak, 55, of Hopatcong, pleaded guilty to forgery. Between Jan. 1, 2004, and Dec. 31, 2004, Filak ordered magazine subscriptions and miscellaneous merchandise in the name of another person. Sentencing is anticipated for March 10. Kareem J. Barber, 21, of Rockaway, pleaded guilty to giving false information to law enforcement. On Nov. 18, in Vernon, he told Vernon police officers that he had been abducted in Dover at knife point, was forced to go to a condominium complex in Vernon, and was then robbed by his assailants. He later told police he had made the whole story up. Sentencing is for March 10.
