    Sept. 9 Tanya McKevitt, 19, of Hopatcong, was sentenced to three years probation on condition that she serve 270 in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility (45 days credit for time already served) and six months loss of her driver’s license. She must also undergo a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations, submit a DNA sample, undergo random drug testing, obtain/maintain employment, pay $25 restitution and $1,455 in fines and fees. She pled guilty on June 27, 2011, to third degree distribution CDS within 500 feet of a park and fourth degree resisting arrest. In August of 2010 McKevitt sold marijuana to an undercover officer within 500 feet of Modick Park on two different occasions. In March, 2011 she resisted arrest by kicking a police officer when approached regarding a complaint against her. Both incidents occurred in Hopatcong. Qutrilla Hargrove, 32, of Newark, was sentenced to five years drug court probation, 180 days county jail, $2,330 in fines and a one year loss of driver’s license. She pled guilty on June 20, 2011 to the second degree crime of possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a park and the third degree crime of eluding. She admitted to delivering 15 small bags of cocaine to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force and then attempting to avoid arrest by eluding the police in her motor vehicle. The crime occurred on Dec. 15, 2010 within 500 feet of Heritage Park in Newton. Keith A. Morea, 48, of Hopatcong, was sentenced to 10 years state prison with 33 months of parole ineligibility, $2,255 in fines and a 24 month loss of driver’s license. He pled guilty on June 27, 2011 to the second crime of possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to possessing 20 grams of cocaine on April 22, 2010 in Hopatcong which he intended to distribute to others. Sept. 12 Amanda Zita, 22, of Hamburg, pled guilty to theft and forgery, both third degree crimes. Aaron Southworth, 26, of Franklin, pled guilty to interference with custody, a third degree crime, and burglary, a third degree crime. He also pled guilty to resisting arrest, a disorderly persons offense and DWI. Nicholas J. Zanetti, 30, of Byram was sentenced to five years drug court probation, inpatient substance abuse treatment, 230 days county jail and $1,205 in fines. He pled guilty on June 13, 2011 to the third degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to possessing 16 bags of heroin during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Byram Police Officer Daniel DeWald on Sept. 29, 2010. Brian E. Krystofik, 35, of Vernon was sentenced to three years probation and $1,205 in fines. He pled guilty on June 6, 2011 to the third degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to possessing a vial of Ketamine on July 17, 2010 in the Borough of Hamburg. Sept. 13 Russell Schabacker, 51, of Newton, was sentenced to one year probation, 39 days in jail, $155 in fines and $4,300 in restitution. He pled guilty on June 27, 2011 to the third degree crime of theft as an accomplice. He admitted that on Nov. 23, 2009 he assisted James Castimore in disposing of a stolen parking ticket machine from the Adam Street lot in Newton by assisting Castimore in loading the machine into the trunk of a car and dumping it on Hicks Avenue. Emily Henry, 27, of Port Jervis, N.Y., pled guilty to one count of failure to come to the aid of an injured person, a third degree crime and one count of assault, a third degree crime. On or about Aug. 17, 2008 Henry knowingly assaulted an injured victim by spraying him with mace and left the scene knowing or reasonable believing the victim was unable to care for himself. Sept. 16 Samuel Courtright III, 23, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., was sentenced to three years probation, was ordered to serve 180 days jail and given credit for six days served. He must submit to random urine monitoring, maintain gainful employment, pay total fines and penalties of $805 and submit a DNA sample at his expense. His driving privileges were suspended for 24 months. He pled guilty on June 13, 2011 to eluding, a crime of the third degree, and to the motor vehicle offenses of driving with a suspended license, reckless driving and failure to inspect a vehicle. In pleading guilty, Courtright admitted that he failed to pull over for a police officer attempting to conduct a motor vehicle stop on Sept. 1, 2010 in Byram Township. Jacqueline L. Brokaw, 25, of Ventnor, was sentenced to four years probation, was ordered to continue with outpatient drug counseling and therapy, and pay restitution in the amount of $2,000. She must submit to random urine monitoring, maintain gainful employment, pay total fines and penalties of $405 and submit a DNA sample at her expense. She pled guilty on March 28, 2011 to three counts of theft, all crimes of the third degree. In pleading guilty, Brokaw admitted that on three separate occasions between Feb. 22, 2010 and March 4, 2010 in Sparta Township, she took jewelry, cash, electronic items and other property from residences she was staying in at the time. Jacob R. Gentry, 30, of Port Jervis, N.Y., was sentenced to 30 years in prison and must serve 85 percent of his sentence under the No Early Release Act. A jury convicted the defendant on June 23, 2011 of aggravated manslaughter and endangering an injured victim.
