July 17 Charley I.Gould, 25, of Sussex pled guilty to one amended count of eluding, a third degree crime, two amended counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a fourth degree crime and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.. Sentencing is set for Aug. 30. The defendant was seen swerving on Route 181 in Sparta and was signaled to stop. He continued to drive to a house in Wantage, failing to stop for the police. During the pursuit a bag of marijuana was thrown from the vehicle. When the vehicle did stop it was observed that there were two children in the car that were not in car scats. Gould also pled guilty to reckless driving and having no insurance on his car. July18 Fernando M. Reyes, 26, of New York, NY, pled guilty to receiving stolen property, a third degree crime. Sentencing is set for Aug. 9. On Oct. 2, 2006, in Vemon Township, he and a co-defendant broke into a condominium unit and took a 32-inch television set from the residence. July 19 Juliana Hoffman, 26, of Franklin, pled guilty to theft of a credit card, a fourth degree crimc and use of a stolen credit card, A THIRD degree crime.. Sentencing is set for Aug. 31. She admitted to taking an individual’s purse and using a credit card to purchase goods at the Franklin Shop-Rite. Jason Hendrickson, 29, of Franklin, pled guilty to theft of A Credit card, a fourth degree crime and use of a stolen credit card, a third degree crime . Sentencing is set for Aug. 31. Kulesa III, 22, of Newton, was sentenced to three years New Jersey State Prison and will be ineligible for parole for a period of 18 months. He pled guilty on June 7 to burglary, theft and forgery, all third degree crimes, and to a second charge of forgery, a fourth degree crime. Between Feb. 27 and Nov. 24, 2006. he took a handgun, personal checks, a business checking card and credit cards all belonging to his father, cashed the checks and used the credit cards to make purchases. David Machuca, 45, of Franklin, was sentenced to three years New Jersey State Prison and was given credit for 115 days served. He must pay restitution to several victims, p”y total fines and penalties $155 and submit a DNA sample at his expense. He plcd guilty on April 30 to receiving stolen property. a third degree crime. On March 26, a Newton Police officer, while on routine patrol, noticed the defendant’s vehicle improperly parked in the Shop-Rite parking lot with its parking lights activated and no one near or in the vehicle. Various items were seen through the open driver’s side window of the vehicle, which matched descriptions from recent car burglaries. July 21 Joseph L. Edwards, 19. of Montague, pled guilty lo unlawful possession of a weapon and burglary, both third degree crimes. Sentencing is set for Aug. 31 Between Dec. 22, and Dec. 27. 2006 in Wantage Township, he and several co-defendants broke into a residence and took a Smith & Wesson revolver. July 23. 2007 Mark Zellers, 28, pled guilty to a charge of the fourth degree charge of violating the items of his comrnunity supervision for life and the third decree charge of violating the terms of Megan’s law by failing to register an address change with the police. Zellers, a previously convicted sex offender, was ordered by the court to comply with the terms of Mcgan’s law and community supervision for life. Zcllers admitted to the court that between May 17 and Junc 16 he had violated the terms of his community supervision for life by failing to live at his address approved by parole, by failing to obtain permission from his parole officer to move to a new residence, by failing to obtain permission from his parole officer to secure new employment and by failing to report TO his parole officer. Zellers also admitted that he had moved from his approved address in Sparta to a new address in the State of New Hampshire without first notifying the Sparta Township Police Department of his intention to move to a new address. Parole Officcr Michael Marino and Detective. Marc Rubino of the SpartaTownship Police Department investigated the case. Zellers is scheduled to be sentenced on Friday, Aug. 31. Elizabeth A. Gunderman, 34, of Franklin, pled guilty to credit card theft, a fourth degree crime, and fraudulent use of a credit card and theft, both third degree crimes. Sentencing is presently anticipated fur Sept. 21. Gundcrman had previously been enrolled in the pre-trialiIntervention. program with respect to these charges, but was terminated from the program for non-compliance prior to the entry of her guilty plea. Between Aug. 1 and Sept. 22, 2005, in Franklin, she took a credit card belonging to her employer and made several withdrawals, all of which were video taped, Bryan H. Jacob, 20, of Scotch Plains, pled guilty to possession of a weapon without a permit, a third degree crime. Sentencing is set for Sept. 21. Jacob had previously been enrolled in the pre-trial intervention program with respect to the charge, but was terminated from the program for non-compliance prior to the entry of his guilty plea. On Sept. 1, 2005 in Hampton Township, while on a routine motor vehicle stop for failure to stop at a stop sign, an air pellet handgun was observed in plain view on the seat of his vehicle . He did not have a New Jersey Firearm ID card for the air gun.. Sean C. Colligan, 33, of Landing, pled guilty to two counts of burglary, both third degree crimes. Sentencing is set for Aug. 30. On May 16 and May 17 in Mt. Arlington. he entered two separate residences and took household items from one but was found in the second home prior to anything being taken. He admitted his actions in a statement given to Police. Gregory Monto, 22, of Sussex pled guilty to one count of Child Abuse, a fourth degree crime. Sentencing is set for Sept. 21. Monto, from April through June of 2007 had a relationship with a minor that included sexual contact.
