Dancers perform in honor of Sept. 11

SPARTA — Local company members from Perfect Pointe Performing Arts Studio, under the direction of Jessica Szucs Barlow, showed their patriotism and pride Sunday afternoon during a 9/11 Celebration of Freedom Event, organized by Sparta's Mitch Morrison. Fifteen dancers from 8 to 18 years of age, performed a lyrical dance to Celine Dion's "God Bless America," commemorating everyone affected by September 11th for the tenth anniversary occasion.
