Sparta - Paddles were waving in the air at the Lake Mohawk Country Club on Saturday, April 8, as 250 guests of Interfaith Hospitality Network bid on auction items and enjoyed a buffet dinner at the group’s sixth annual dinner auction. Over 100 auction items, ranging from artwork to vacation homes, to hand-made crafts, to handyman services, were up for bid. This was the most successful dinner auction the group has run to date, generating over $30,000 for shelter and support services to homeless families. The IHN expressed thanks to local businesses for their generosity and to honorary chairpersons of the event, Larry and Mary Anne Condit.
