Edward Jones hosts professional broadcast course
Newton Terence Wynne, the local Edward Jones investment representative, will host a “Year-end Tax and Legal Planning Strategies” professional broadcast course at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 40 Park Place, Suite 107, in Newton. This program is designed to present the latest hot topics in tax and legal planning: new legislation, cases and rulings of relevance to the general practitioner in preparing 2006 tax returns and advising clients during this tax season. This program highlights the new developments practitioners will need to assist their individual and small-business clients during tax season. This course is approved for five credit hours of continuing professional education and continuing legal education for attorneys, CPAs and tax professionals. Topics covered will include: the 2006 legislative changes impacting small-business owners; new IRS rulings impacting individual taxpayers and small-business clients; court decisions impacting clients for the 2006 tax-filing season; and tax-planning opportunities available for 2006.
