Food pantry needs help

SPARTA - Food donations are desperately needed for the Sparta Ecumenical Food Pantry. “The run on the food pantry continues unabated,” said Rev. Thomas A. Litteer, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. He said more and more people are in need of food and “we are battling to keep up with the demand.” Although the food pantry is located in Sparta at the First Presbyterian Church, 32 Main Street, it serves the whole of Sussex County not just the Sparta area. Rev. Litteer said monetary donations are also welcome.
