Frogmore Country Elegance will donate 10 percent of their proceeds Oct. 1

ANDOVER — To kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Frogmore Country Elegance, located at 238 Route 206, Andover, announces their Shop for the Cure event. This event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During the event shoppers are invited to browse, enjoy some refreshments, and pick up free information from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. Frogmore Country Elegance will be donating 10 percent of the day’s proceeds to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Customers on their mailing list will receive a coupon for the event. If they like, customers may donate that coupon back to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. At Frogmore Country Elegance, the staff says they each know someone who has had to deal with the diagnosis of breast cancer. A friend, a family member, a loyal customer, and even one of their own staff have heard those four little words that can change someone’s life, “You have breast cancer.” But they believe that education can significantly increase the chances of survival.
