Good movies
Members of Girl Scout troop 811 in Sparta are working towards their silver award by creating a DVD library for children at Hackensack University Medical Center. The scouts will be hosting multiple movie nights for fifth through eighth graders. The admission fee will be one new DVD, which will cover a movie, refreshments, and a chance to win door prizes. All DVDs collected will be given to the Tomorrows Children’s Fund at Hackensack University Medical Center for hospitalized children to enjoy. The first movie night, for fifth graders, will be from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Mohawk Avenue School. The sixth graders will have their night from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, March 17, at the Sparta Middle School.
