Grand prize at Rev. Brown School Tricky Tray is real concrete
Sparta - The Reverend Brown School is finalizing plans to make its March 10 Tricky Tray a major fundraising success. Almost all school families are contributing to the effort to make the event, the biggest school fund-raiser of the year, a success. Parents and area businesses donate the more than 200 trays to be raffled off. For the third year, Service Concrete of Oak Ridge has donated the grand prize raffle item, a full year’s tuition for one Reverend Brown student, valued at $3500. In 2004, the prize was won by the Barbagallo family of Montague. In 2005, the Berry-Toon family of Green was the winner. Rob and Lisa Bossart, owners of Service Concrete, are parents of Reverend Brown students and have decided to make the prize an annual donation to the school. The Tricky Tray fundraiser will be held on Friday, March 10, at Pope John High School. Doors open at 6 p.m.; calling begins at 8 p.m. Tuition raffle tickets cost $10 each or three for $25 and may be purchased in advance.Families entering Reverend Brown next year are eligible to buy tickets.
