    December 3 At 4:57 p.m., Ptl. D. McNulty of the Hamburg Police Department stopped a car at the intersection of Linwood and Wallkill avenues. He observed the driver, Frank O. France of Hamburg, appeared to be intoxicated. The intersection is in a school zone and France had minor children in the car. After an investigation, McNulty charged France with a number of motor vehicle complaints: failure to keep right, driving with an obstructed view, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving while suspended, expired drivers license, failure to change address, improper use of a horn, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, driving with an open container in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle in a school zone and arriving under the influence with a minor as a passenger. France was also charged with criminal complaints: possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana in a school zone and possession of drug paraphernalia. France was processed and released pending a mandatory court date. December 4 Hamburg police arrested William Finan, age 43, of 72 Shady Lane, in Hamburg. Finan was charged with lewdness, a disorderly persons offense, after he was observed urinating in the Wachovia Bank parking lot. He was released pending a mandatory court appearance. Patrolman John Barrett conducted the investigation and arrest.
