Harvest Fun Fest to be held at Green Pond Bible Chapel

Rockaway Township —Volunteers at Green Pond Bible Chapel are busy preparing for their annual “Heaven’s Harvest Fun Fest” scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 14 from 1 to 8 p.m. The event has grown each year, with last year’s attendance reaching about 1,500 people from the greater Morris, Sussex and Warren counties and beyond. This is the largest indoor harvest festival of its kind in all of northern New Jersey. Rain or shine, the church’s facility can accommodate such a crowd. The entire building will be set in motion to facilitate the over 75 fall-themed games and activities, as well as family entertainment. A highlight each year includes the hayride around their 32 acres for kids and families to enjoy. Fiddle-playing “cowhands” are expected to provide additional sing-a-long fun. In addition to all the other crafts and activities, guests can have old-time family photos taken to capture special memories. Dinner and desserts will also be provided. Admission is free, with a good-will offering to be taken. Green Pond Bible Chapel is located a couple miles south of Route 23 at 1083 Green Pond Road in Rockaway Township.
