About 250 people gathered in front of town hall for a Sept. 11 observance. The event, co-ordinated by resident Mitch Morrison, included music by the Sparta High School Marching Band, and musical and dance performances. Residents were encouraged to share their thoughts on the topic: Why I love America. State Senator Stephen Oroho, Assemblyman Gary Chiusana and Mayor Jerry Murphy were among the distinguished guests.
