Sparta - K.E.E.P., Inc., is now accepting registrations for its before- and after-school child care programs for the new 2006-2007 school year. Schools where Project K.E.E.P. programs are offered include Alpine, Florence M. Burd, Fredon, Hamburg, Helen Morgan, Lafayette, Cedar Mountain, McKeown, Ogdensburg, Sandyston, Stanhope and Stillwater. Because the programs are offered right in the child’s school, no transportation is required. K.E.E.P., Inc., is expected to announce a new program for children who attend the Walnut Ridge School in Vernon. Funded slots are available for qualified parents. To qualify, a parent must be working or attending school full-time and be eligible under SSBG financial guidelines. A nonprofit agency, K.E.E.P. is the largest child-care provider in Sussex County.
