There will be over 100 vendors, including many local businesses. This year’s Sparta Day will feature a free “Sparta Kids’ Country” children’s entertainment area with inflatable rides, including a giant slide, super bounce house and a 55 foot obstacle course. There will also be a petting zoo, activities and demonstrations for children of all ages. The kids’ area will be to the right and rear of the school. Buckles & Bows of Upper Lake Plaza in Sparta will be the “platinum sponsor” by co-sponsoring the children’s activities with the Junior Woman’s Club. Other sponsorship opportunities are still available. A flag ceremony by the Elks Club is scheduled for 10 a.m. in front of the school. The Junior Woman’s Club of Sparta still has a few openings for additional vendors. For information on selling or sponsorship, send e-mail to spartaday2006@hotmail.com or call 973-300-7309.
