Knights of Columbus are on the move

The Blessed Kateri Knights of Columbus Council #13677 recently sponsored a parish trip to New Haven, Conn. Deputy Grand Knight Nick Cutrone and his wife Mary served as tour guides to the 40 participants since they both have family roots in New Haven. The first stop was St. Mary’s Church in New Haven where Father Michael McGivney founded the Knights back in 1881. Blessed Kateri Pastor Father Patrick Rice co-celebrated a Mass with St. Mary’s pastor Father Joseph Allen. Blessed Kateri Altar Servers Frank Cutrone, Ed Weaver, Matthew and Michael Dolecki, and Jacqui Schmitt participated. Following the mass, the group got a tour of the church and its grounds and stopped at several favored local restaurants. A tour of the Knights of Columbus Museum followed. The museum houses numerous historical artifacts, artwork, and a special exhibit on the life and work of Mother Teresa.
