Vernon — Linda Kroeger Wilson of RE/MAX Properties Unlimited in Vernon has received a certificate from the Children’s Miracle Network, for donations this year. For each sales transaction, a donation was made on her behalf to the Children’s Miracle Network. RE/MAX became the official real estate sponsor for The Children’s Miracle Network in 1993. Founded in 1983 and based in Salt Lake City, the Network a North American fundraising organization that raises money for more than 160 hospitals serving millions of children. RE/MAX has sponsored 856 repaired hearts; 3,477 Brain MRIs; 249 bone marrow transplants; 742 lives without cancer; and 1,356 NICU beds during alone. Kroeger Wilson was impressed with the support that RE/MAX provided this year to this alliance with premier hospitals for children. “When I joined RE/MAX last year, I was offered the opportunity to be part of this alliance,” she said. “What I liked most about this charity was that proceeds go to local Children’s hospitals. Although RE/MAX offices exist throughout the world, funds are dedicated to areas in which the salesperson works. It doesn’t matter if the sales transaction involved a buyer, seller or both. Never did I imagine the impact that RE/MAX could have. I am amazed at the stats from 2006. I am proud to have been a part of it and proud that all of the agents in my office participate. But it could not have been done without the networking of the largest real estate company in the world and the help of many wonderful clients who were really the benefactors.” Kroeger-Wilson is licensed as a real estate sales person and a real estate broker. She has been a top producing sales agent in this area for almost 20 years.
