Local architect chosen for MTA project

Sparta - Sowinski Sullivan Architects, PC, Sparta, has been selected as the Architect for a train station the MTA/Metro North Railroad will construct to serve the new stadium the Yankees are constructing in the Bronx. Currently, the stadium is served only by a subway station - one that Sullivan designed in the mid 1990’s. The project, which is estimated to cost over $50 million, includes a new energy efficient station facility, links to ferry services and new development parcels, and a 300 foot long pedestrian bridge.
