Local chiropractic assistants makes history
Sparta - Carol LeFante, Adrienne Whitley and Pam Sportelli, chiropractic assistants became “certified” chiropractic assistants during The Masters Circle’s SpringFest National Seminar in Dallas, Texas, on May 4. There were 2,500 chiropractors, office staff and family members who packed the ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion hotel to witness this event. The Masters Circle is the largest personal development, coaching/consulting company dedicated to serving health care professionals. It has created and offered the 18 month, 18 module, 60 hour program and has full accreditation by Life Chiropractic College West. This is an industry first, because the program raises a chiropractic assistant’s knowledge and skill sets to paraprofessional status. Through seminars, consulting, tele-classes, distance learning and home study, the candidates develop proficiency in a broad range of areas covering chiropractic care, office administration and personal development. They must pass an online testing program to be eligible for this certification. Chiropractors rely on chiropractic assistants to provide important administrative and non-clinical support services.
