Carly Trovato of Hardyston and Aaron Stone of Green Township were awarded the first scholarships presented by the Sussex County Young Republicans.
Each will receive a $250 scholarship. They were chosen after submitting essays describing their views and why they hold them.
Trovato will be attending the University of Rhode Island and Stone will be attending the University of Florida.
