'A Night at the Races' returns

Sparta — The 3nd annual Pass It Along derby-themed fundraiser, A Night at the Races, will be held on Friday, November 3 at the Red Tail Lodge at Mountain Creek, located at 200 Route 94 in Vernon. Doors open at 6:30 pm, 5:30 pm for VIP guests. Races begin at 7:30 pm. General admission tickets are $75 and may be purchased at passitalong.org/nightattheraces or by calling 973-726-9777.
Tickets include cuisine from eight (8) top restaurants: Perona Farms, Tanti Baci, Upstream Grille, Andre’s, Café Pierrot, Casa Bellisima, Red Tail Lodge and Stone Water. Also included are live music, and betting bucks to play real and professional, prerecorded horse races for a chance to win several prize baskets and gift certificates each with a minimum value of $50.
A silent auction is currently open online, and winners will be announced at the live event. Auction items include Broadway tickets to Phantom of the Opera, A Bronx Tale, and the sold out show Hamilton! Additional prizes include a Viking Rhine River Cruise including airfare, Giants vs. Cowboys football tickets, spa and golf packages, two brand new bicycles, a $2,000 custom tailored Italian men’s suit, and a VIP tennis experience with an opportunity to meet and play with a world renowned tennis hall of famer. New items added daily.
All proceeds raised from this event will help support free programs for local teenagers in self-discovery, volunteerism and leadership. This event is sponsored by Mountain Creek.
