Advanced nurse joins Skylands Pediatrics

— Renee Thomas, an advanced practice nurse, will be joining the staff of Skylands Pediatrics-PCP in July.
Skylands Pediatrics has been providing care to the community since 1976, serving Sussex County and Pike County, Pennsylvania, with offices in Sparta, Franklin and Milford, Pennsylvania, providing care from birth to 21 years of age. The Sparta office of Skylands Pediatrics is open seven days a week.
Thomas is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree as well as her Master's Degree in Nursing from Seton Hall University. For 28 years, Thomas, APN, has dedicated her service to providing patients with comprehensive holistic care by focusing on health maintenance, education, illness prevention, and minor and chronic illness management. She was a teacher at Felician College and Seton Hall University for their undergraduate nursing and graduate nursing programs. Currently, she acts as a preceptor to Rutgers and Seton Hall Nursing students. A mother of 3, Christopher, Patrick, and Alexis, she has been married to her husband Russ for 28 years and resides in Newton.
She will be accepting new patients in the Sparta office as of July 5.
