She became experienced in issues such as handbook development and use, grievance process, investigations in the workplace, and related matters.Prior to joining LCR, Lucas had the privilege of representing schools since 2002. In her capacity representing schools, she has addressed and sometimes litigated teacher grievances, special education matters, bid issues, HIB investigations, and other current education law concerns. Lucas also provided pro bono representation to victims of abuse or negligence, both adults and children. She served the Board of Trustees of North Jersey Legal services for five years. She is now actively advocating on behalf of targets of abuse, crimes, neglect, and harassment to protect them to the extent allowed by law.
