David Barber, senior research biologist at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in Kempton, Pa., will present “Ecology of Black Vultures in Pennsylvania,” at 7:15 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Sparta Ambulance Building, 14 Sparta Ave., Sparta.
Barber, who has worked at Hawk Mountain Preserve for 26 years, will explore the behavior, ecology and factors that have made black vultures a highly successful species in the region.
