Big wins for Sparta Bears

Sparta Bears Football had big wins at their home turf last weekend and advanced two teams to the New Jersey Suburban Youth Football League playoff semifinals. The 8th grade Level A team beat Scotch-Plains Fanwood 36-8, and the 5th grade Level D team beat Richmond Boro 31-6. Both teams will play for the for the American Division championship on Sunday, Nov. 15.
